Scope of this policy
This policy covers Area0’s public websites, including area0.es, Radio 0, the live camera service, and associated contact forms and links.
Data we process
When you contact Area0, we may process your name, email address or phone number, the subject and content of your message, and any files or links you choose to send. We do not request special categories of personal data.
The website may also process the minimum technical information needed to serve pages securely, along with a locally stored preference recording that you have read the privacy notice.
Purposes and legal bases
Information you provide voluntarily is used to respond to enquiries about visits, coworking, business domiciliation, events, Radio 0, show proposals, music or collaborations. Processing is based on your request, pre-contractual steps where applicable, and consent where required.
Legitimate interests allow us to maintain security, prevent abuse and keep the website running. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles or automatically add it to a marketing list.
Radio, live audio and external services
Radio 0 never starts playing automatically. When you press play, your browser connects to the audio stream provider. As with any internet connection, that provider may receive your IP address, the date and time, browser type and other technical information needed to deliver the audio.
The live camera opens only when you choose to access it and may rely on an external provider. It shows the surroundings and is not intended to identify people or show areas used for private activities.
Recipients and processors
Messages are received through the communication tools Area0 uses to reply. Hosting, email, audio and video providers may process technical data independently or as processors, under their terms and applicable agreements. Area0 does not sell data or share it with third parties for advertising.
International transfers
Some technical providers may operate outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, we use mechanisms recognised by law, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. You can request more information at the email address above.
Retention
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and then for any applicable statutory retention periods. Proposals that do not proceed are deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. The local privacy preference lasts for a maximum of twelve months.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to social@area0.es. You can also withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
Minors and sensitive data
Our services and forms are not specifically aimed at minors and do not request sensitive data. If we discover that information from a minor has been received without valid authorisation, we will delete it as soon as reasonably possible.
Changes to this policy
The review date appears at the top of this page. Any material changes will be published here before we introduce a new use of personal data.
